Code of Conduct

Bee Game Discord is a community-driven public discord and league for Killer Queen Black players, from casual fans to seasoned competitors. We are committed to providing a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for all, focusing on the values of compassion, integrity, respect and courage.

Our Goal

The goal of this document is to set the overall tone for our community. This isn’t an exhaustive list of things you can and can't do. Rather, take this document in the spirit in which it’s intended, and try to be your best self. The code is a living document, and will be changed and improved over time. We'll do our best to share any changes with the community.

This Code of Conduct applies to all spaces managed by the Bee Game Discord. This includes, but is not limited to, The Bee Game League, and any tournaments or special events conducted on or associated with The Bee Game Discord. In addition, violations of this code outside these spaces may affect a person's ability to participate within them.

The Bee Game Discord Code of Conduct applies equally to all members of the community, including volunteers and mods. All members will be personally responsible for familiarizing themselves with this Code of Conduct and the Bee Game Discord Rules document.

The moderation team will be responsible for promoting and posting these documents in easily noticeable places, but this Code of Conduct will apply to all participants regardless of whether they’ve read it.

The values of Bee Game Discord and League are heavily borrowed from the Keystone Code (more info available at

  • Compassion: treat others as you would like to be treated; consider the perspectives of others.

  • Integrity: be honest, be committed, play fair.

  • Respect: respect all other humans, teammates and competitors alike.

  • Courage: be courageous in competition and in standing up for what is right.

It takes work to build a safe and inclusive community. This work comes in many small forms, including what you will stand/won't stand for in voice chat, how you choose to talk to others and the level of effort that you put into the game/community. A core mentality of our community is not just saying "we are welcoming" but doing the work to make things welcoming, even if it means standing up to those in the community who are actively not living our values.

The moderation team of Bee Game Discord also promises to abide to an adjusted version of the Santa Clara Principles for moderation (more info available at

  • Transparency: moderators will provide notice to each user whose content is taken down or account is suspended about the reason for the removal or suspension.

  • Accountability: moderators will provide a meaningful opportunity for timely appeal of any content removal or account suspension.
